Update the widget
Replace an out-of-date widget with the current version.
If the widget is showing A new widget version is available., your copy is behind the released one. Update it in Figma, from the canvas.

Right-click the widget
Right-click the Compfeed widget on the Figma canvas.
Open the widget menu
Choose Widgets in the menu.
Update
Choose Update to latest version.
Expected result
The banner disappears and the widget reloads with the current version. Your links and checks are unaffected: the update replaces the widget code, not the contribution.
Why this happens
A Figma widget runs the version that was added to the file. Figma does not replace it on its own, so a file can keep running an old copy long after a new one ships. Compfeed compares the running version against the released one and shows the banner when they differ.
Update when you see the banner. Older widgets can miss behavior that the rest of Compfeed assumes.
