Compfeed

Activity

See what is happening across your organization, and read the history of one component.

The Activity feed is the record of what people did, across every team in your organization. It answers "who changed this, and when" without anyone having to ask.

Open it

Choose All activity in the sidebar.

The page is headed Activity. Entries are grouped by day, with the most recent first, under headings reading today, yesterday, or the date.

What an entry tells you

Each entry carries the time, what happened, and which team and component it happened on, plus who did it.

The feed records, among other things:

  • A check ticked or unticked, naming the check
  • A component moved to another phase, naming the phase it came from
  • A component added, changed or deleted
  • A process added, published or deleted
  • Somebody joining or leaving a team, and team role changes
  • A new organization owner
  • A Shortcut story created from a component

If somebody's account has been deleted, their entries show as Anonymous rather than disappearing.

Narrow the feed

Two filters sit above the list:

  • user — one person, or All
  • a date filter, which reads pick a date until you set one

Set a date range and choose apply.

Read one component's history

Choose an entry to open that component's history in the pane beside the feed. Until you pick one it reads Select a component activity to inspect.

The pane shows the component's current phase and how far through its checks it is, with Open to go to the component itself. Long histories page with Load more results.

Expected result

You can answer, for any component, what changed and who changed it, without asking anyone.

If something doesn't work

  • The page says No activity found: nothing has happened yet in the range you filtered to. Clear the date filter.
  • An entry's component no longer opens: it has been deleted. The entry stays in the feed.
  • Anything else: see Troubleshooting.
