Profile and security

Change your own account details, sign-in methods and sessions.

These settings are yours alone. They follow you across every organization and team you belong to, and nobody else can change them for you.

Your profile

Settings → Profile holds your own details, such as your name and your picture.

Your name is what other people see on a component's activity, so keep it recognizable to your team.

Sign-in and security

Settings → Security & access holds how you get into Compfeed.

Compfeed supports several ways to sign in:

  • An email address and a password
  • A magic link sent to your inbox, which signs you in without a password
  • Google
  • Microsoft
  • A passkey
  • Two-factor authentication on top of a password

When you sign in with a magic link, Compfeed shows Check your inbox and waits for you to open the link in the email.

If a sign-in link does not work, it has usually expired. Request a new one rather than reusing the old email.

Your Shortcut and MCP connections

Connections you make as yourself, rather than for the whole organization, live under Settings → Connections. That covers your own Shortcut token and the AI tools you have authorized. See Connections.

If something doesn't work

  • A reset link says it is invalid or has expired: request a new one from the sign-in page.
  • You cannot sign in with Google or Microsoft: check you are using the same address your invitation was sent to.
  • Anything else: see Troubleshooting.
